What Is Contact Resistance For Relays

Nov 23, 2022

Refers to the  total resistance of the contact resistance between the contacts and the  sum of the conductors connected to the contacts and the conductors at  the terminals. Generally expressed in mΩ.
Unless  otherwise stated in the specification, a relay with a contact load less  than 1A generally uses 6Vd.c., 0.1A to measure contact resistance, and a  contact with a contact load greater than 1A uses 6Vd.c., 1A to measure  contact resistance.
