Precautions for relay cleaning

Dust cover type, flux proof type:

(1) Do not carry out hot washing or dipping cleaning.

(2) Scrub only the soldered surface of the printed board.

Encapsulation type:

(1) can be hot washing or dipping cleaning.

(2) Please use alcohol or water cleaning solution.

(3) The cleaning temperature should be controlled below 40 °C.

(4) please do not carry out ultrasonic cleaning or cut off the relay leading end, otherwise it will cause coil breaking and contact bonding.


For plastic sealing relays, the plastic sealing performance of some relays may be damaged due to the different welding conditions of users after loading the PCB board and welding. Therefore, if the relay needs to be cleaned overall after welding, please use the welding conditions recommended by our company and select special plastic sealing products. Do not use Freon, trichloroethane, diluent or gasoline for cleaning.
