Components of an electromagnetic relay

An electromagnetic relay mainly consists of the following parts:
1. Coil: Usually wound with copper wire, it generates a magnetic field when energized.
2. Core: Usually made of soft magnetic materials, it is used to enhance the magnetic field generated by the coil.
3. Armature: A movable ferromagnetic component located near the coil and core, it moves under the influence of the magnetic field.
4. Spring: Provides restoring force to reset the armature when power is off.
5. Contact system: Includes normally open (NO) contacts, normally closed (NC) contacts, and a common terminal (COM), used for switching circuits.
